Alvin, TX and Manvel, TX area Girls - Are you a Girl Scout? Join Now!!

As a Girl Scout Troop leader, I'm getting excited about all of our plans for the upcoming 2013-2014 girl scouting year.

Because the Girl Scouts are "Girl Led", I've been finding new options and ideas throughout the summer for the girls to choose from. Aside from a totally awesome Halloween Party that I've planned, the girls will have all kinds of choices on everything from crafts to field trips, topics we delve into and more!  I can hardly wait to see what they choose and embark on this year's journey with my girls!

Girl Scouting today isn't like it was when some of us were girls...it's even better!

Today scouting reaches far and wide, introducing girls to interests and unique opportunities they may have never had without the Scouts.  It isn't all about camping and cookies, although they are part of the fun.

The only thing that could help make this year better is you!

If you are interested in registering a 1st grade girl, I'd love to have her join my troop.  And if not mine, let me help you find a troop that is a better fit.  If you are interested in joining the Girl Scouts please contact me or attend on of the Alvin Area Girl Scout Registration Rallies this week!

Gearing Up For the 2013 - 2014 Girl Scout Year

I'm getting so excited!

It is nearly time for the new 2013 - 2014 Girl Scouting year to begin.

I've spent alot of time this summer planning all sorts of fun and educational activities for our now 1st grade troop.  I hope we have even more new faces in our troop as we do returning girls!  Our troop leader, co-leader and Troop Management Team are ready to start your young lady on a journey that will benefit her life in many ways.

If you would like more information about joining my Daisy Scout Troop, another Daisy Troop or about Girl Scouting in general, feel free to email me at Troop27001@VictoriaWrightOnline.com.

Girl Scouts - A Wonderful Lifelong Experience

There are few clubs or organizations that you can join at age 5 and continue to learn and grow with for the rest of your life.

I am proud to be the new leader for one of Alvin's Daisy Scout troops starting this September.
While troop activities slow for the summer months, there are a great number of Girl Scout activities going on throughout the entire year within the San Jacinto Council.

In fact, we are currently conducting early-bird registration for out troops for Fall 2013.
If you would like info about starting the young lady in your life on a journey that will shape her life for years to come, please contact me. I'd love to get you connected with the appropriate GS contacts and help add new members to our GS community.

Girls grades K - 1 can join my Daisy Troop if they're interested, or I can help you get in touch with another troop that better meets your schedule. Sign your daughter up now and get her started on the path to new friends, fun, new experiences and a brand new sense of self-worth and self-confidence.

The Girl Scouts provide an exceptional choice for starting your daughter on a solid and fun-filled path to learning new things, finding new friends, and enriching their lives on so many levels.
